Calvary Church Westport is delighted to announce that we have purchased a permanent home for the church on Distillery Road in Westport, part of what used to be Berry’s printing works, next door to Western Care’s Carrowbeg Enterprises. We have employed the services of Michael Horan of Axo Architects to design our new facility. Declan Moran, from Louisburg, of Luomoy Construction will be the main contractor and Lynch Roofing, from Ballaghaderreen, will be the roofing contractor.
Calvary Church Westport is an independent Christian church, holding to the Apostles Creed, believing in the Holy Trinity, the virgin birth, the sacrificial death of the Lord Jesus on the Cross and of course in His glorious resurrection.
Each of us has come to know the wonderful love of God and the joy of having our sins completely forgiven. The glorious Good News is that this wonderful experience is open to everyone who will come to the Lord Jesus seeking it.
As an independent church we manage all our affairs locally. We are not affiliated to any denomination, but at the same time we are in fellowship with many churches throughout the country, working together towards the spreading of the liberating message of the Bible.
Calvary Church is made up of people from all walks of life, our meetings are open to all. You would be very welcome to come along, any Sunday morning at 11am, and check us out. Until the building is completed we will be continuing to meet at Westport Leisure Park.
